Isabella Rossi, Multimedia Journalist

I’m a morning reporter waking up with you on WGEM News in Quincy, Illinois. My day to day projects have me working on tight deadlines to create video projects and written content to be aired on WGEM TV 10 and posted on wgem.com, as well as social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

I graduated in the spring of 2020 from Virginia Tech with a degree in multimedia journalism. During my time at Virginia Tech, I was the managing editor of the Collegiate Times, the co-producer of the Collegiate Times podcast 'After Class', and a news broadcaster for WUVT-FM Blacksburg. I have worked as a digital news intern at WAVY-TV 10 in Portsmouth, Virginia and as a news intern at WSLS 10 in Roanoke, Virginia.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and cat. I also enjoy reading, especially about true crime, traveling and trying new recipes.
